The PORT Gesundheitszentrum is a facility of the Bosch Health Campus. It houses a family doctor's practice of the Medical Care Center at Robert Bosch Hospital and is part of the PORTprogram of the Robert Bosch Center for Innovative Health. The PORT Center offers comprehensive, patient-centered care tailored to the regional needs of the local population. The aim is to help ensure basic health care and offer continuous, coordinated care, especially for people with chronic illnesses.
A key approach is interdisciplinary collaboration: doctors, medical assistants (Medizinische Fachangestellte), academically qualified nursing experts, community health nurses, and other specialists work together as equals to ensure holistic care. In addition to on-site medical treatment, digital health services and the provision of social medical services also play an important role. The PORT Gesundheitszentrum also offers courses and training to help people actively improve their health and quality of life.
A special feature is the close integration with the Robert Bosch Hospital in the city center of Stuttgart which efficiently links outpatient and inpatient care. Older people and those with limited mobility benefit particularly from this seamless care. The PORT Gesundheitszentrum is thus pioneering sustainable, cross-sector healthcare in Germany.
